January was well COLD! Looking back it went by pretty fast but in the middle there we were starting to wonder if it would ever end. We tried to make the best of it with projects and when fresh snow hit snowball fights, a snowman, and snow forts kept us busy for a few days!

We did have some excitement when a house across the field from us caught fire. We didn't actually see the fire just lots of commotion. The next morning we could see why. Can you see?
Love notes always make the long, cold, winter a little more fun. It's not even Valentines yet he did it just because! What a sweetie!
Matt's been working hard on Scouts and earned lots of pins, belt loops and patches this month. He also earned his Webelos but they are waiting until the Blue and Gold dinner to present it to him!Hope you all have a WONDERFUL February!

I've been on the road all week with Pops, and got home late last night. Love the new pictures. That snow man is a stud. Did Matt and Curt build him by themselves? Great job! It definitely looks like a winter wonderland up there.
Tell Matt the we are so proud of him for his great work in scouting. He is growing up sooo fast. He will be an eagle before we know it. That is really a bummer about the house across the way. Hope everyone got out safely. Ryan is such a romantic cutie. Hug him and all those sweet kids for me. I love you. Mom
