It's not really work when we are in it together!

Summer is quickly approaching and there is no lack of things to do. We have lots of plans and when we are not on the go, we are busy at home!

Matt is suited up for some house work!

Dad's working hard finishing the basement!

Charly just loves her Daddy and finds him very comforting. He seems to be the only one she still will cuddle with and fall asleep. In fact most of the time not even with him, she just can't be bothered with tedious things like sleep;) In fact I have been reading Sister Hinckley's Letters book and in it she is talking about one of her grand babies and that he would not sleep much at all maybe a 30 minute nap twice a day and wake up at least three times every night. She said that the doctor had told his mom that he was just one of those over-achievers who could not be bothered with sleep. I shared that with Ry, we had a little chuckle over it and it made us feel a little better but not really we would still love a good nights sleep;) Charly is such a joy though even in the middle of the night we can't help but smile and feel so blessed to have her in our family!

And let's not forget the yard work. As soon as the basement is done we plan to start over on our yard it just was not done right and isn't healthy and needs some topsoil. But for now we are pulling weeds and trying to keep it alive. We also have most of our garden planted and the kids are loving "yard work!"

Way to go, all of you working together both inside and out. It is so true that many hands make light work. The kids are learning so much and making Grandma so proud. Charly is growing up so fast, these wakeful nights will not last long. I am glad you are enjoying them in spite of the excessive tiredness. She is such a doll.
Hey, thats probably why old folks sit around in their rocking chair and sleep, or fall asleep in church...they are finally catching up on those long nights of walking or rocking all those babies.
Love you more than a good nights sleep!

lol Old folks nothin'! Ry said a few Sundays ago he was on the stand at another ward and noticed quite some time had seemed to have gone by that he somehow missed;) He said he wasn't sure how long he was asleep for but knew he had missed one talk entirely! You know that is one of the things men have to be good at before they become a High Priest! ;)

It looks like you're working hard. It seems like there is always something to get done, and when the warm weather rolls around there's so much to do and none of it seems to get done. I love that picture with Ryan and Charly.

You guys have such a cute little family. The time seems to creep so slowly when the babies won't sleep at night, yet when we look back on it, we wonder how we just couldn't enjoy it....it only lasted such a short time?! I'm right there with ya!! ;)

Love ya tons, Em
