Our long weekend was very enjoyable (even though no baby yet) it did start off a little rocky Friday night with a gallon of honey rolling down the stairs and busting open leaving half of it on the basement carpet. (sorry no pictures to traumatic;) We were sure glad we had Dad and the Kirby vacuum around or it could have been much worse. It seems to have cleaned up OK maybe a little sticky still but another going over ought to fix that!
Well the next morning we decided we needed to have some fun! So we packed a breakfast and headed to the park before it got too warm!
We enjoyed homemade granola bars, fruit, smoothies, and plenty of sunshine! Dad and the kids played baseball and kickball among other things! Mom sat under the umbrella with her ice water hoping to not get too hot!
It was a fun time! Sunday night because of the holiday the next day, we thought it might be fun to have a family "sleep over". We set up a beds and sleeping bags in the basement made some Chocolate Peanut butter Pie (another one of Tammie's creations she thought up; it turned out very yummy if you want the recipe you have to ask really nice;) and we turned on the movie The Ten Commandments. We ended up having to finish the movie Monday morning it's a long one! We then finished our weekend by heading up north to The Sweet Tomatoes for dinner and coming home for a few fireworks! Family time is so much fun!

What a blast! You guys are so much fun! That baby of your is obviously related to its Mortensen cousins. (They seemed to love life in the womb!) Just takin' its sweet time! Although I guess your due date isn't until the 31st. Your other chillins have you spoiled! :)

Lucky for the Utaaaaads...that got the day off. No such luck here in the Golden State. ;) It sure looks like you guys made the best of it.

Make sure you stay outta the heat, you don't wanna boil that lil bun in the oven. Heck, if your due date isn't till the 31st, ya might as well hold out and have it on Spencinas bday. He would be SOOO PROUD!

What fun times! The sleepover in the basement reminds me of our family sleepovers back in the day out on the trampoline. If I remember right, Dad and i bailed ship in the middle of the night and sneaked in the house to get some sleep.
But not before we all did some serious stargazing and giggling.
Ok, Tam, you know that Dad loves peanut butter and chocolate, so I have to join the others in begging. Please???? I sure do love you all!
