Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Matt has become very interested in kite flying lately, and well it's March what a perfect time for it! He has tried flying kites some in the past but for some reason we always tried on beautiful NON-windy or even breezy days. So the only way the kite would fly was to run really fast and keep on running! He found kite flying of this type to be very tiring;)

Well the past few days he has gotten the kite out put it together ran a bit while letting out the string and as soon as it was high enough it was smooth sailing from there!

He loves to just watch it!

He will just fly his kite for hours keeping it in the air the entire time. If anyone else wants to fly it he is happy to let them take the string and have a go at it!

It's been lots of fun watching him!

You have to look closely but in every picture he is holding onto the kite string and the kite is flying! What a cool kid!

lol I was betting the holes in the knees would be noticed. Sorry to say both my boys don't own a pair of jeans without them! Even Curt's Sunday pants were getting holes in the knees! We will have plenty of shorts for the summer;)

Matt never ceases to amaze me. He has such a keen interest in everything, and he learns so fast. He is one delightful little guy. Give him and his brother and sisters a hug for Grandma. Love you all

jeans are more comfy if they have holes in the knees. Keeps them cooler. I love kite flying too Matt, we should have a Kite Day! What a cute kid he is.

Love Ya Spools of String Full!

It is that time of year again. Caleb has been wanting to fly kites at Grandma Nelson's again. You know how the wind in Cedar can be. Pretty much any day is a good windy one.

Matt is a really cool kid. I love flying kites too. I hope that the wind keeps up so that there are many more kite flying days in the future.

We love you more than the length of your kite string.

We will be hosting a kit flying contest on 4/28. We hope that you all can come and fly a kit with us. It is our annual "Flight for Life (Sight)" with the Cedar City Lions.
It was cool to see Matt enjoy flying his kite. I have a big one that we made that I would love to see him help me get in the air. Love Mom & Dad Nelson
