This New Years was fun as usual but maybe a bit more exciting because we have had a couple of "extras!" Ry's sweet nieces are spending 10 days with us while their parents are in Italy! We have been having a great time, it has been fun to get to spend some quality time with these girls because they have always lived pretty far away so we have not ever gotten to spend much time with them. We were worried that they would not enjoy spending so much time with us since they don't know us very well. But we are all having a lovely time getting to know each other better!
Here we are ready to eat New Years Eve dinner! I tried making some "Vegan Mac and Cheese" it turned out quite good. I had also made Ry a "Pumpkin Pecan Pie" for his birthday that was delicious! So we made it again for New Years!
Here is Ry very excited about the new year (actually it is posed;) we let the kids stay up a couple hours past bed time, then after we got them in bed we wonderd what the point of us staying up since we were both very tired so we went to bed at 10!)
The next day we took the tree down and just enjoyed spending time together. It was very nice!
Here is Charly on New Years Day she is getting so big! She sits up really well on this little couch. She is getting closer all the time to sitting up on her own!Well we hope you all had a Happy New Year! Stay tuned we hope to have some "highlights" of 2006!

It looks like you're having alot of fun. When you get done tending those cute kids, while their parents are in Italy. Maybe you can tend some 'other' cute kids, while their parents go to Italy eh?

Looks like a fun time, and going to bed at 10 isn't all that bad of an idea either. When you have six kids in the house, you sleep while they sleep, right!?? You and Ryan are an awesome Aunt and Uncle...and the kids are great cousins. I am sure your loving service is much appreciated. Charly is getting so grown up looking, and so absolutely adorable! We will be watching anxiously for your 2006 pictures. I love you all!
