Time with Cousins

Having Kindra and Audrey stay with us for almost two weeks made for some good quality time that we have not ever got to spend with them before. If was fun getting to know those sweet girls just a little bit better! I hope they will have fond memories of the time spent cause we sure do!

Kindra and Matt made a "pinata" (I'm sure Moof and Buddy can guess were Matt got that idea;) It started out resembling a hot air balloon and grew from there. I thought they were quite creative it was fun to watch them at work!

We were hoping to have more snow to add to what little bit we had left so the kids could play. But we never did get much so they made the best of what was there. The kids put on their snow suits and spent a lot of time out "sledding" and just goofing off in the snow.

It was enough to wear Audrey out. She came in and just crashed before we could get her snow suit off. I did manage to lay her on the couch and get her boots off so she would be more comfortable. But not before I got a few pix;)

Everyday Kindra's job was to move the chairs so Missy and Matt could sweep and mop the floor. She enjoyed this and would build a "castle" that Curt and Audrey loved playing in. There was at least a good hour of play most days in the chair castle with "Princess Audrey" and "King Curt" just fun to watch those vivid imaginations! (Note: Can you see Curt in the Picture above he went "downstairs through the trap door";)

Here is Missy and Kindra making breakfast with Ry all in their Jammies on a lazy Saturday morning! Sometimes the relaxing lazy times can be the most memorable!

Now just look who loves to sit up! Charly is getting pretty good and this sitting up thing (although she is still pretty tipsy) she loves to do it and enjoys grabbing at anything within reach. She has learned to maneuver her walker also and is everywhere in it. She gets very excited when we open the fridge and she sees all the things to touch! Pretty soon nothing will be safe;) Oh by the way she is wearing the sun hat because I was seeing if it was going to fit her while we are on our cruise next week, it's a little bit big but should do the trick so she doesn't get burned!
